A special italian Wedding in lecco and Locanda la vecchia Filanda

The town of Lecco and its surroundings that were the background for the love story between Renzo and Lucia in the novel of the Promessi Sposi del Manzoni, and is today the favorite destination for many young couples to set their fascion wedding by the unique landscapes of Lake Como. The religious ceremony with the Catholic rite was celebrated in the pretty Sacred Heart Church at Bonacina. After the rite, the traditional “laughter of the rice” made it even more colorful and cheerful by the flying of white and blue balloons, the two colors chosen by Erica as the color conductor of the wedding. Before the reception, the couple relaxed with a walk on the Lungolago of Malgrate a magnificent place that offers a wonderful view of the lake and Mount Resegone. The suggestive interior courtyard of Locanda la Vecchia Filanda in the Bergamasque countryside has been the ideal background for the tasty aperitif that started the wedding lunch, a valued continuation of a truly fantastic day and full of emotions.

About Riccardo Bestetti

Riccardo Bestetti was born in Milano. After having attended a university-level master and got a diploma in advertising photography at the European Institute of Design in Milan, he takes his first steps in the studios in Milan where he starts taking his first professional shots.

The turning point In the 1985: he opens a studio there he deals with advertising and industrial photography. With ages he snaps shots on behalf of national and international companies.

In the same time he work for a newspapers and magazine as reporter.
As years have come by he is more and more attracted by social photography a sector which delights him as he finds a working environment not as cold and vapid as the studio where he had worked.
Especially, he takes pictures at weddings where, thanks to a refined journalistic style with a strong emotive impact,
he gives life to unconventional shots to highlight beauty and quality.

Thanks to its unique personal style he is select in the most prestigious national and international associations.
