Lake Como has always enchanted tourists from all over the world and today it is often chosen as a destination for fantastic dream weddings.
Small villages scattered on the shores of the lake, charming villas and hotels rich in history and beautiful gardens are what awaits you here.
The wedding that we present in this article took place in two of the most evocative and famous locations of the whole Lario.
This romantic married couple from Scotland chose the village of Bellagio as a base for their preparations. The city of Bellagio is one of the most famous of Lake Como, here is the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni one of the historic hotels of Lake Como.
In its rooms you can breathe an atmosphere out of time, with a splendid lake view, ideal for the preparations of the bride and her entourage.
The bride chose an elegant and elaborate lace dress with magnificent hand-sewn details. The bridal look was completed by the choreographic veil with floral themed lace inlays.
The civil ceremony was celebrated at Villa del Balbianello, an architectural gem in the village of Lenno.
“Buen retiro” of an explorer during the past century, built on the remains of an ancient monastery, is a place full of charm and perfect for an evocative ceremony.
The beauty of the Loggia Durini, which hosted the rite, was enhanced by the floral compositions in shades of cream and pink.
Before the evening reception, the newlyweds enjoyed a boat trip on Lake Como while the guests enjoyed a refreshing aperitif. Dinner was served in the Loggia Segrè, the ancient greenhouse. Candles, flowers, and glass vases were part of the setting which, in the colors, recalled the bouquet and the compositions used for the ceremony. The cutting of the cake and the first dance of the spouses took place on the Canfora terrace under the splendid starry sky of Lake Como.
